Ironcraft is a well-respected company that manufacturers a huge variety of wrought iron products including made to measure, bespoke ironwork. Having redesigned their logo earlier in the year, both we and Ironcraft felt it was time for an updated website - one that was responsive and had a new look and feel that better represented the premium products and service that Ironcraft offer to their customers.
As smartphones and other mobile devices have become more and more popular, responsiveness is a crucial requirement for any website nowadays. It means that no matter what device your site is viewed on, it’ll automatically adjust to fit the screen size so that users can fully interact with all of its features and functions. Without a responsive website, you don’t get this functionality and websites often display badly - therefore you risk users abandoning your site to find one that’s easier to use.
Ironcraft’s new branding formed the basis of the new site design. The simpler, modernised logo inspired the colour scheme, and from this we have created a brighter and fresher overall design that features clear messages, videos of Ironcraft’s products in action, and plenty of photos of Ironcraft’s gates and the Ironcraft team in action in their workshop.
The new site also features a more streamlined site structure, making the Ironcraft website easier and more intuitive to navigate. There are more consistent calls to action across the site as well as the many positive testimonials that Ironcraft receive from their happy customers. We also created new pages for important areas such as Gate Safety, Schools and Safeguarding and the Sectors that Ironcraft cater for.
